busked in New York while participating in the TIGHTROPE musical, a play

SIX Worse still, I was suddenly engulfed by a cold/flu. But a beautiful barmaid came to my rescue and saved me from a desperate night on the street. The tortoise was way ahead, it seemed. But the barmaid's rescue led to me checking out the gig on the Wispile to see if it was still on. It was, and I was racing once more as I hitched back to Bern. But I still had the cold/flu.
